Gear reducers are typically used in drive equipment with low rotational speeds and high torque.
Gear reducers are typically used in drive equipment operating at lower speeds and delivering higher torque. Even standard motor-driven reducers incorporate several pairs of identical gears to achieve the desired speed reduction. The ratio of the number of teeth on the large gear to that on the small gear defines the transmission ratio. As the reducer industry continues to evolve, an increasing number of enterprises are adopting gear reducers.

Gear Reducers 1. The R-series coaxial helical gear reducers are designed in accordance with international technical standards, featuring a high level of technological sophistication. 2. They save space, are reliable and durable, and offer excellent overload capacity, with power ratings up to 132 kW. 3. Low energy consumption and superior performance—reducer efficiency exceeds 95%. 4. Minimal vibration, low noise, and outstanding energy-saving benefits. 5. Constructed from premium forged steel, with a cast‑iron housing, and gears subjected to high‑frequency heat treatment. 6. Precision machining ensures shaft parallelism and meets the requirements for locating bearings; the helical gear drive assemblies are paired with various electric motors to form mechatronic systems, fully guaranteeing product quality and reliability.
Reducer:
1. The speed of the high-speed shaft shall not exceed 1,500 rpm.
2. The peripheral speed of gear drives shall not exceed 20 m/s.
3. The operating ambient temperature shall be between –40°C and 45°C. If the temperature falls below 0°C, the lubricating oil must be preheated to above 0°C before starting.
4. The gear reducer can be operated in both forward and reverse directions.

ZSC-type cylindrical gear reducer:
The ZSC-type reducer, developed by incorporating design and manufacturing expertise from similar products both domestically and internationally and further refined through optimization, is widely used in industries such as metallurgy, machinery, petroleum, chemical engineering, construction, textiles, and light industry. ZQA
Cylindrical gear reducer:
The ZQA-type reducer is an improved version of the ZQ-type reducer. To enhance gear load-carrying capacity and facilitate replacement of the ZA-type reducer, the material of the pinion can be changed while maintaining identical external dimensions, shaft ends, and mounting dimensions. The gear shaft is made of 42CrMo, and the large gear is made of ZG35CrMo; after tempering and quenching, the gear shaft has a hardness of 291–323 HB, and the large gear has a hardness of 255–286 HB. The ZQA-type reducer is primarily used in lifting, mining, general chemical processing, textile, and light‑industry applications.
A gear reducer is a self-contained, enclosed transmission device positioned between the prime mover and the working machine, used to reduce rotational speed and increase torque to meet operational requirements; it may also be employed to increase speed, in which case it is referred to as a speed increaser.

Working principle:
A gear reducer achieves speed reduction by employing multiple stages of gear transmission. It consists of a series of gear pairs; for example, driving a large gear with a small one produces a specific reduction ratio. By adopting a multi-stage design, the rotational speed can be significantly lowered.
During prolonged operation, gear reducers frequently experience failures such as wear and leakage, with the most common issues being:
1. Bearing housing wear in the reducer, including wear of the housing bearing seat, the housing bearing chamber, and the gearbox bearing chamber.
2. The gear shaft of the reducer exhibits wear, with the primary wear occurring at the shaft end and the keyway.
3. Wear on the bearing seat of the reducer’s transmission shaft.
4. Leakage at the reducer’s mating surfaces.
