The helical gear–worm gear reducer employs a direct‑drive motor configuration.
The helical gear–worm gear reducer employs a direct‑drive motor configuration, with its structure primarily comprising a single-stage helical gear set and a single-stage worm gear drive. This design provides a wide range of speed ratios, while the shaft‑mounted output facilitates easy integration with other equipment.
When the motor drives the helical gear to rotate, the rotational motion of the helical gear is transmitted via the drive shaft to the worm. The worm meshes with the worm wheel, converting the rotary motion into the rotational motion of the worm wheel while simultaneously achieving speed reduction. Due to the inherent characteristics of worm‑gear drives, this reducer offers a high reduction ratio, enabling it to meet speed‑reduction requirements under various operating conditions.

The primary advantage of helical gear–worm gear reducers lies in their simple mechanical design and the resulting high efficiency. Compared with conventional worm gear reducers, the sliding friction inherent in this design ensures smoother and quieter operation.
This gearbox not only operates with low noise but also offers a wide torque range, from 92 Nm to 4,000 Nm, making it suitable for a variety of industrial applications.
Adopting a modular design philosophy, it can be combined with other motor types, such as AC motors or servo motors, to create a variety of geared motor configurations, offering greater flexibility and versatility.
Helical gear–worm gear reducers are particularly well suited for heavy‑load, low‑speed, high‑torque applications. By combining the principles of helical gearing and worm gearing, they can convert high‑speed, low‑torque input power into low‑speed, high‑torque output power.
This type of reducer is widely used in the speed‑reduction systems of various mechanical equipment across industries such as metallurgy, mining, lifting, light industry, chemical processing, transportation, and construction, demonstrating its exceptional versatility and reliability.
Convenient installation: This reducer supports multiple mounting options, including foot mounting and flange mounting, providing high flexibility in practical applications.
Maintenance and Servicing: Although helical gear–worm gear reducers are designed to require minimal maintenance, proper upkeep and regular inspections can extend their service life and ensure consistent performance, particularly in applications involving heavy loads and demanding operating conditions.

Compact Design: The helical gear–worm gear reducer features a compact structure, minimal footprint, and ease of installation and maintenance.
Smooth transmission: Helical gears feature a hardened tooth surface, ensuring smooth operation, low noise, and excellent transmission performance.
Wide speed ratio range: By adjusting the transmission ratio of the worm gear set, a broad speed ratio range can be achieved, meeting the deceleration requirements of various operating conditions.
High load-carrying capacity: The reducer boasts a substantial load-bearing capability, enabling it to meet the demands of heavy-duty operating conditions.
Diverse installation options: Helical gear, worm gear, and worm‑shaft reducers are available in multiple standard mounting configurations, allowing users to select the most suitable option based on their specific requirements.
Helical gear–worm gear reducers are widely used in the speed‑reduction systems of various types of machinery, including metallurgical, mining, lifting, light‑industry, chemical, transportation, and construction equipment. For example, in the metallurgical industry, they can be employed in the speed‑reduction drives of rolling mills; in the mining industry, they serve as drive units for hoists; and in the lifting sector, they function as reduction devices in crane hoisting mechanisms, among other applications.
